Berlin To Host The Terrace at The Arch for Waze & Odyssey Part 002

POoK - Lola EP

After a successful first show back on 3 February for Waze & Odyssey's new residency at the Arch, the Berlin Team have been personally selected to host the Terrace once again.

February saw a strong line-up with friends such as Jackathon founder Heidi and rising star Alex Virgo. Pre-show, Alex Virgo also joined Markus Saarländer on our weekly Berlin Radio Show on Trickstar Radio. You can listen back to the show here.

Warm up duties on the night were provided by Brighton newcomer DJ Faro AKA Katie Farrow who will once again be on the roster on March 3 getting the main room all jiggy. Next Friday will also see Parisian dance floor superhero and renowned crate digger Jeremy Underground visiting the city.

"Crate-digging DJ Jeremy Fichon, aka Jeremy Underground, prides himself on playing some of the rarest white elephants in house music history. " Factmag.

Hugely influenced by Chicago House, Jeremy grew up in a Parisian suburb listening to Radio Nova in the late 90s as a young 10 year old and quickly got into that sound. When he finally was old enough to hit the scene he went to see Kerri Chandler whom he labels "as one of the most important characters in his House music education."

Fast forward to today, and now travelling the world and sharing the stage with some of the biggest names in the music industry, we're excited to see Jeremy hit the Arch with a House masterclass.

Also joining the guys in the main room is Red Rack'em, who went from being a seasoned underground veteran to overnight success in 2016 with his cross genre smash ‘Wonky Bassline Disco Banger’ picking up plays and support from just about everyone including Moodymann, Black Madonna and even Elton John. It also went onto score the remarkable double of being the biggest selling vinyl single of the year at Juno AND being awarded record of the year at Phonica.

As a DJ, Red Rack’ems credentials are there for all too see. Initially an aspiring scratch DJ in a remote Scottish fishing village, he’s spent the last 23 years honing his craft and taken in plenty of genres and vibes along the way. He’s toured the world, played some of the worlds biggest clubs and festivals and even curated his own Boiler Room. With 6 remixes completed already this year and some amazing original music ready to go on his own Bergerac and Nettles labels, it looks like things are going to continue at quite a hectic pace for Red Rack’em for quite some time.

Representing the Berlin Team will be head honcho Markus Saarländer and new residents and multi-talented duo Monica. Groovy terrace vibes with a Berlin-Twist guaranteed.
