Timo Garcia & Enzo Siffredi Link Up For Latest Madtech Release

Audiojack

Two artists who have made huge waves in recent years with a string of releases between them hook up for a cracking 4 Track EP on Kerri Chandler's Label Madtech Records.

Both based in Brighton, Timo & Enzo have combined to produce a lush House/Techie number with the track Sonny taking centre stage and receiving two remixes by Timo's more housey alias 'Nolan'.

The track is already gaining huge support and will no doubt be a dance floor filler over the next few months, fitting suitably anywhere from Miami to Ibiza to Berlin and beyond.

MadTech Records was founded in 2012 as an offshoot imprint to Madhouse Records, the long-running record label launched by Kerri Chandler in 1992. Now MadTech is a few years old and having been musically guided by Kerri himself has gone on to form a well-respected reputation with a coterie of emerging talents on the roster.

Timo Garcia is a name that needs little introduction. Now a firm Berlin-Brighton resident, Timo's sound straddles the fine line between underground darling and big room, big tune dance floor arsonist, his numerous releases on the circuit’s biggest and best labels has been well documented including releases on ElRow Music, Exploited, Noir, OFF, Compost, Lost Records, Skint, Southern Fried, Stealth, Yoshitoshi, Nervous, Leena, Cr2 & Toolroom & even Hed Kandi.

In order to separate his deeper more bass driven, disco tinged productions a new alias was needed and so in 2012, with a slew of releases on Get Physical, Gruuv, OFF Records, Connaisseur & Nurvous; NOLAN was born! A collaboration with Idris Elba on vocals followed shortly on vinyl after his chart topping single Everyday & Everynight featuring Defected star Amber Jolene had spent almost the whole year in the Beatport NuDisco charts thanks to KANT’s deft touch on remix duties. Teasing a forthcoming full album project featuring the inimitable FORREST on vocals two collaborative singles have already dropped, one on Mother Recordings and the latest on KITTBALL, which features dark & driving remixes from label boss P.A.C.O. & Hot Creations duo Raumakustik.

Enzo Siffredi has also had a spectacular run in terms of releases in recent years. Being the creator and main man of Minimal Kids & Wired. 2015 saw him make his debut on Defected Records with ‘Sometimes’ where he reached no.1 in the Deep House and no.3 overall on Beatport’s charts, no.1 on Traxsource as well as receiving worldwide support and appreciation including a WMC nomination.

Since then Enzo has released EP’s on both Defected and Suara gaining continued support from major players in the electronic music scene including Carl Cox, Marco Carola, Claude Von Stroke, PanPot and many more and has continued to release on labels such as Toolroom, Ton Liebt Klang, Supdub, Tächno, Erase, Time and Keno Records.

We do like this EP and is a great crossover of both of their musical styles with Timo's big room dabble and Enzo's techie notes making it a great combo. Not only that, we also get a bonus track from Timo, using a sample from a pivotal speech from one of the actors of popular Netflix series 'Stranger Things', which made huge waves when its first season went live. The speech was made by David Harbour, who played a cop in the series, and was made during an awards show. Season 2 is upon us soon, so this is a timely release that will no doubt appeal to lovers of the 80s retro series.
