We welcome Magnus Asberg to our Berlin Mixtapes Series! Magnus has been partying with us since April this year including performances at the Green Door Store, our events at the Beach Kollektiv in the summer and our night at Mono.
Magnus first caught the fever for house music in 1985. Since then he’s honed his craft amongst the best there is, pushing the sound everywhere and anywhere he’s been.
Unsurprisingly, a DJ career that has lasted more than 20 years has seen Magnus play at hundreds of clubs and parties all across Europe. From world renowned super-clubs like Fabric, Ministry of Sound and Turnmills through to mountain-side bars to hard-to-find warehouses in a city near you, this man has done ‘em all.
Magnus has built a strong underground following and currently holds down several residencies in his Brighton hometown as well as in London and Sweden. Magnus also owns the label 'On the House Records' and has remixed many tracks for other well-known industry names.Magnus brings with him his own sound of Berlin, compiled through his experiences and venues he has played.
Expect a deep house, techie sound, which bounces and chugs along to tantalising vocals and basslines. Hypnotic, fun and addictive, this Mixtape will certainly have you tapping your foot. Perfect listening. Enjoy!
