Nightshift Records Behaving Badder

Audiojack

Brighton Label Nightshift Records continue their Techno pounding forward march with their latest release Shake Down produced by label new boy Martin Badder. This Techno groover of a track is reminiscent of the early rave culture, and is sure to ignite any dance floor.

Martin's background in the music industry started early with a dream record deal with London Records and a publishing deal with EMI during his teenage years. He spent the next 10 years touring the world with his own band 'Countermine' supporting the likes of the Stone Roses, Ronnie Wood, Blondie and more.

Fast forward to today and Martin has spent many hours in the studio and the clubbing circuit, fine tuning his sound. Having now produced a string of unique tracks across grooving genres such as Deep House, Tech House, Nu Disco and Electro Swing, Martin has joined the Nightshift crew to focus on some slightly darker sounds.

Previously, Martin has released on Berlin Label Bunny Tiger, a label we very much like here at Berlin Studios, producing a UK House record that delivers driving beats, bouncing bass-lines and a groovy percussion. You can grab the track 'Freak Yeah' on the end of year compilation from 2016 called 'Bunny Tiger Selection Vol. 8.

Martin has also released on Brooklyn label Exit 32, featuring the track 'Prisma' found on their Take Off Vol. 02 Compilation. A bouncy soulful builder with a killer drop.

Back to the Shake Down EP, and no strangers to Nightshift Records, Disobey return as they inject their smooth and deep sounds into their remix. Joining them is Oliver Rees on the remix duties, transforming the track into a percussive rave banger.
